About

Hi my name is Heidi and welcome to my handweaving world! I discovered my passion for weaving in my twenties while living in Connecticut, and it has been a part of my life ever since. Over the years, I’ve woven on and off, but in retirement, I’ve decided to fully embrace this art form that brings me so much joy.

I work on a traditional jack loom and specialize in plain, twill, and slit weaving, as well as the intricate art of finger weaving. My collection includes a variety of handwoven creations, from elegant scarves and cozy rugs to colorful wall hangings and practical yet beautiful hand towels. Each piece is carefully crafted with attention to detail, ensuring it’s not only functional but also a unique work of art.

In addition to showcasing my work, I enjoy sharing my craft with others. I attend craft fairs to connect with people who appreciate handmade items and welcome commissions to create one-of-a-kind pieces tailored to your vision. If you’re interested in learning to weave, I also offer lessons and would be delighted to help you explore this rewarding art form.

Thank you for visiting—I look forward to hearing from you!
